This is a poorly known periodical edited from 1854 to 1896. Charles Lemaire was the editor from 1854 to 1869, and the “journal” was published in Gand by Ambroise Verschaffelt.
It presented coloured plates (as Curtis and Edwards did!) and “miscellanies” dealing with any plants. The fac simile proposed below give the pages devoted to succulents and related plants. The light-grayed parts of some pages, in the interpreted files, refer to plants or subjects other than those necessary to the reader of this library!
The “Image files” are volumes proposed by the Missouri Botanical Garden (MBG) Library.1)
