This book, published in 2000, has been written by three prominent specialists of the Sulcorebutia genus. It gives a detailed review of the genus: description of the species, plant variability, field data and filed numbers, culture advice, and sumptuous pictures (more than 150) of plants either in culture or in the field. The specialists of the genus will appreciate the technical data, and the beginner will be seduced by the pictures. A problem may worry the reader: the useless complexity of the nomenclature (plethora of synonyms) among this genus.
