Eberhard Scholz visited Argentina and Peru searching for cacti. The book below (116 pages, 531 photos) lists the plants found and show them in color. Together with Gertel's book devoted to Sulcorebutia, it is a document that unambiguously links field numbers with plants independently of classification and taxonomy.
